RANGE OFFICER SAFETY CLASS FOR MEMBERS OF TOPTON FISH AND GAME MEMBERS
Develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.
*Attendees must be age 21 or above.
Range Safety Officer candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions.
Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, and a Course Evaluation form.

Location: Topton Fish and Game Association, 26 Tina Lane, Mertztown, PA 19562. Presenter, Wayne Downs
This is a six-hour training class required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license. You must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training.
Important: In order to prepare for your class, read Chapters 1, 4, 5 and 9 located at Today’s Hunter & Trapper in PA.

Women on Target® Instructional Shooting Clinic

Learn to Shoot Pistol Clinic at Topton Fish and Game Association

(Limited to 24 participants)

Location: 26 Tina Lane, Mertztown, PA 19539

Time & Date: Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 8:30 AM

Cost: $55

You will be supervised on the range by NRA Certified Instructors and NRA Range Officers. Clinic includes firearm, ammunition, and safety equipment. You may bring your own if you have them. Each participant will receive an NRA Souvenir Bag. We recommend that you wear a baseball taype cap and no low cut tops or open toe shoes. Lunch will also be provided. We also suggest that you bring a lawn chair to be comfortable during the range relays. In the event of inclement weather please contact the instructor 484-793-9211.
